Advertising & editorial policy
This site makes money from employers and sponsors, not from job seekers. Here's how I keep the paid stuff separate from everything else, and how you can tell which is which.
What the labels mean
- Sponsored: an employer paid to post this job here or to have it shown more often.
- Featured: an employer paid to pin the job near the top of the list for a set time.
- Ad: a paid ad or sponsor message, on the site or in an email. It's not a job listing and it's not my recommendation.
Paying never changes the facts
Paid placement changes where a job shows up, not what it says. The pay, location, state rules and requirements come from the employer's posting, and we don't edit them for money. Paid jobs follow the same rules as every other listing on the board.
Newsletter sponsors
The Remote HR Weekly and job alert emails can include sponsor messages. Every one is labeled Ad or Sponsored.
Affiliate links
Some links, like a cert prep course or an HR tool, may earn me a small commission if you buy. When a link is an affiliate link, I say so right next to it. It never costs you more, and I only recommend things I'd tell a friend about.
Your email address
I never sell your email address, and I don't share it with sponsors or advertisers. Details are in the privacy policy.
